We are offering preschool through kindergarten on the second floor of the educational wing of the church, at the ten o'clock hour and the eleven o'clock hour. We are also providing nursery care both hours under the coordination of Mindy Simmons.
At ten o'clock, there is Sunday School for elementary children, grades 1-5 on the third floor of the educational wing of the church. At the worship hour, after the anthem, children in grades 1-5 are dismissed to attend a program designed especially for them on the third floor. After worship, in the sanctuary, every Sunday, the Children/youth Usher Board meets under the direction of Leigh Burns and Mary Rayford with Andrea Cole assisting.
The children and youth are preparing to serve as ushers on the fourth Sunday of the month. They are also learning to serve as acolytes. Any child and/or youth ages 8 through 18 can participate.
On Wednesdays, beginning October 1, there is an after school program for children/youth grades 4th through eighth grades. The program begins at 4:15 with recreation and a snack followed by choir from 5-6 p.m. During the Wednesday night Bible Study and Bell Choir, child care is provided.
