It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Music and Fine Arts Ministry section of the Metropolitan UMC website.

The congregation of Metropolitan has long embraced music and the arts as an essential part of its heritage. The exceptional gothic architecture and dramatic stained glass windows combine to create a powerful complement to worship services, concerts and other events. Maintaining the highest standard of musical integrity for all worship services is the primary focus of Metropolitan's music ministry.

On these pages you will find a wealth of information about all of Metro's vast and exciting music programs.You will learn about our choral ensembles, handbell choirs, adult music classes, our amazing pipe organs, the choral scholar program, as well as our yearly concert series which brings the top performers of the nation to our historic church.
